    It's that time of year again!
    When recently engaged ladies find themselves hunting for the perfect wedding dress for their special day.

    A stunningly complete 1920's wedding ensemble...
   "From the estate of Mrs. J. Wise, a Boston area physician's wife who was married in 1926, comes this complete wedding ensemble consisting of the dress, headpiece and veil, shoes, stockings, ring pillow, hankie, and Mr. Wise's bow tie."

Caro Nan Cutie

    I have a couple of purses by Caro Nan that are very similar to the one pictured above. This type of purse was one of my favorite styles to carry when I was in college.
    Pictured above is a cute woven wooden box bag by Caro Nan.
    The sides of the purse are painted with shops, the top and upper sides of the purse are collaged, there is a penny glued to the lid, and the interior is lined in quilted brown and white gingham.
    I am surprised by how little money Caro Nan purses sell for. I can see them becoming more valuable in the future.

Found! The Most Darling Crinoline Ever!

    Crinolines and petticoats worn under vintage 1950's clothing can really bring the look of an outfit together and make the look pop!
    Well, above I have pictured the most darling crinoline that I have ever seen!
    The top of the crinoline is made out of white nylon while the bottom part is made out of three tiers of white netting.
    The white netting is covered in red flocked hearts with arrows and the saying "Yards and Yards of Love".
    Which is so appropriate for a time when skirts were so incredibly full that they were made from yards and yards of fabric!

Vintage Advertising Hand Fans

    Companies have been advertising on hand fans for a long time.
    Even today, some companies continue the practice of giving fans out to their customers.
    In fact, at the Antique Expo show this weekend, they had hand fans for people to use as they walked around outside looking at the antiques. Their fan had a sweet Gibson style girl printed on it.
    Pretty girls, flowers or other pleasing images are the most common to find on the fans.

Incredible 40's Rayon Dress

    My quest for the day was to find 1940's rayon print dresses to share with you.
    Little did I know how difficult it would be to find this style of dress.
    I managed to find 3 dresses on ebay to feature.
    My message to you is that if you see a rayon dress that you like- snap it up while you can!
    The dress pictured above has an incredible overall design to it!
    It is made out of black rayon and features an Asian print in white.
