Wool felt jackets with embroidery and appliques were a very popular tourist item from Mexico in the 1940's and 1950's.
The jacket featured above is a rare find.
Green wool versions of these jackets are much less common than red or black. And the floral embroidery is very refined.
This sweet jacket is embroidered on the front and on the sleeves with lovely flowers (there is no embroidery on the back).
