Meryn Cadell's The Sweater song was and is one of my all-time favorites.
The lyrics are spoken while in the background fun and kooky music plays.
The song is about a teenage girl who goes on a camping trip with kids from school. She ends up borrowing a guys sweater and keeping it for awhile, dreaming about him. Only in the end for him to ask for it back. The song ends with these amusing lyrics, "You've got a secret now, honey, and though you'd never sink as low as him, you could blab it all over the school if you wanted The label in that sweater said 100% Acrylic"
Well, Acrylic for a vintage lover really isn't that shocking of a material, now is it?
The wonderfully stylish cardigan sweater posted above is made out of bright blue acrylic and has light blue and cream striping on either side of the chest.
This 1960's mod cardigan is selling for $64.99 over at DressThatMan.com
