Piet Mondrian was known for his geometric paintings featuring primary colors.
In the Fall of 1965 Yves Saint Laurent based a dress on Piet's paintings, the "Mondrian" day dress.
Many clothing and accessories manufacturers followed Yves Saint Laurent's lead and produced all sorts of items with Mondrian style prints.
Take for instance the bracelet pictured above. The bracelet is made out of leather and gold tone metal. The leather has a Mondrian style print to it.
You can buy this bracelet for $25- over at Debutante Clothing (the bracelet is located in the Vintage Jewelry department).
Below I have posted some other Mondrian influenced items.
