I consider a lot of vintage buttons to be little miniature works of art.
A lot of thought went into the design of these wonderful little delights!
Here in Portland we have a great shop called The Button Emporium & Ribbon which sells new and vintage buttons. Check out these ultra cute flapper buttons that I found there!
If you have your own collection of vintage buttons and are curious as to what they are worth, a good book to start with is the Collectors Encyclopedia of Buttons by Sally C Luscomb.
