July 2010 Portland Antique Expo Show Wrap Up

LuluComment

This past weekend was the July Antique Expo Show. The Show seemed to fly by and before I knew it was over. Lots of the usual vintage suspects dropped by to shop and say Hello. The thing that I miss about setting up at the show is that I don't get much time to shop and wander around taking photos. During the times that I was able to get away from the booth I quickly shopped for my vintage affinity...ephemera. At one point I returned to my booth where Chris had been booth sitting for me with a stack about a foot high of vintage magazines and I said, "I brought you some reading material". I'll share photos and scans of my vintage finds with you another day. Today I am sharing photos of people who stopped by my booth or had booth's of their own, as well as a few photos of interesting things at the show...

Julie, Solanah, and Twila Jean...

Anja bought these neat floral sunglasses from my booth...

Julie bought this astronomy print Surf N Sand dress from my booth...

Chris with a bright lime slushy drink next to a bright lime cheongsam dress...

Chris' fantastic Fluevogs...

Shawna June with an amazing Hudson Bay Co wool coat...

Layla, her significant other, and Jackie...

This couple, Larry and Wilma Daniels, set up across the aisle from me at Expo. They are both so sweet! Two of their daughters set up next to them. I love being across from this nice family...

A photo of my space...

Cool posters that I admired...

Teardrop Trailer...

The guy who set up this booth was selling his brother's vintage men's clothing and accessories. I found out from talking with him, that what he had at the show was only a small portion of his brother's collection which is housed in a warehouse and features a fedora room and a Pendleton room...
