Rudolph Grotto Gardens & Wonder Cave in Wisconsin

One day, Chris and I were making our way along the Wisconsin countryside from Stevens Point, where we had stayed overnight, to Marshfield, where we were going to visit Jurustic Park (watch for tomorrow's post).

We were driving along when we passed a sign for Rudolph Grotto Gardens & Wonder Cave. I had read about it before- but, it wasn't on our list of sights to visit. We decided to check it out and turned the car around and went back to the Grotto Gardens where were delightfully rewarded by a lush and verdant scene...

We exited the Wonder Cave onto the roof of the cave. On top of the roof you meander along small paths. At one point we rounded the corner and I noticed this dove sitting in front of the "Garden of Delights"...

On the drive from the Rudolph Grotto Gardens to Jurustic Park we passed an Aldi grocery store car parking lot in which there was a horse and carriage parked ...
