3 years ago today (October 25, 2010) I opened Lulu's Vintage store in Portland, Oregon. We had our grand opening party on October 23rd.
Posted below are photos from when I first opened the store. It's interesting to look back at these photos and reminisce about cool vintage items that I have sold and forgotten that I had. Also my store was sparse when I first opened. I feel that it still has the clean, colorful and curated look that I aim for, just with more merchandise.
I've sold all the structured purses posted above as well as the majority of the tops and dresses.
My desk area looking sparse and much different than it's current look.
Before I opened I wished to sell vintage postcards of Portland and Oregon. Then soon before I opened I found all these dead stock postcards of Oregon along with the wood and metal postcard holder that they are displayed in.
All of the fabulous tooled leather purses, the rubber cowboy rainboots, and the clogs posted above have sold.
I loved the Roma bag posted above- but, resisted keeping it for myself. It sold soon after I opened the store.
