Today I brought about 1,000 vintage sewing patterns down to my brick and mortar store location of Lulu's Vintage!
I haven't counted the pieces of these patterns yet- but, it's something that I am planning on working on. It takes me about 10 minutes to count each set of pattern pieces and get the pattern folded and put back into it's envelope. I am inviting any vintage sewing pattern fanatics to stop by the store and check out my back-stock. My patterns range from the 1920's-1980's.
Storing vintage sewing patterns can pose a problem. I have found the best solution are cardboard comic book storage boxes which come with a lid and are easily stack-able. I picked mine up at Excalibur Books & Comics (2444 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd).
The chic Vogue Couturier Design pattern posted above costs $50- over at Lulu's Vintage online store or can be purchased at Lulu's Vintage brick and mortar location here in Portland, Oregon at 916 West Burnside Street.
